The whole world has been outcrying and “Corona” has become a permanent word in our minds. Hygiene has never been so paramount in our lives, the utmost priority has become to stay safe from the deadliest Corona virus.
Keeping it in mind, Art of Living has donated the Handwash to the front line warriors of Vadodara i.e to our Police and Traffic Police, to protect themselves against this Pandemic!

Inspired by the vision of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, International Association for Human Values (IAHV) & The Art of living Vadodara chapter donated 1000 food grain kits for daily wage earners who are most affected in this lockdown due to Covid-19 pandemic. These kits were handed over to Vadodara District Collector IAS Shalini Agrawal and they would be further distributed to the needy daily wage earners by VMC-Vadodara Municipal Corporation.
In this way, we are following the social distancing guidelines and serving the society as well.
As yet another initiative to serve the society, this week, we distributed hand wash & sanitizers to Mahila Police Station and slums in Vadodara to create hygiene awareness in wake of the current situation due Covid19 (Corona Virus) pandemic. We also made the people in slums aware about maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in this time of global health emergency.
Let us all follow these 5 things to stop the further spread of this deadly virus:
1. HANDS : Wash them often
2. ELBOW : Cough into it
3. FACE : Don’t touch it
4. SPACE : Keep safe distance
5. HOME : Stay if you can
People who are not in the armed forces, this is the time to serve the country by being socially aware and taking proper actions. And don’t forget to observe “Janta Curfew” tomorrow 22nd March as announced by our honourable PM Shri Narendra Modi.

we distributed 200 #blankets in Vadodara Central Jail for the jail inmates. The program was carried out in presence of S. P. Shri Baldev Singh Vaghela & other #police officials. After the distribution I led everyone into a #meditation which was a #blissful experience for all. Grateful for such opportunity to serve the #nation & the #humanity!
The Art of living Vadodara Youth wing, Yes+ Gang celebrated the festival of Christmas in real sense. The festival of love, tolerance and brotherhood was celebrated with a blanket donation drive for the needy. Also, joined by a Santa, spreading smile and sweetness to every passerby. A great way to celebrate festivals is to celebrate with others. Approx. 350+ blankets were donated. A noble initiative worth sharing, worth spreading
The Art of Living Yes!+ Gang took up a unique initiative to celebrate this Diwali. “खुशियों का तोहफा ” Inspired to spread light and happiness with the less fortunate ones, 500+ goodie bags were made and distributed it to kids belonging to rural schools, special abled schools, and the less previleged ones, in and around Vadodara. The goodie bags contained Sweets (Mithai), Fire crackers, Stationery, Chocolates, Game/Toy, Farsan (Snacks), etc. The volunteers also spent time with the kids and celebrated the festival of light. Some special moments from this very special #sevatrend. Also, we thank @santushti shakes & more for sponsoring desserts for the kids of rural schools. And everyone who contributed in one way or other. Kudos!
In this chilly winter nights, even after wearing sweaters and remaining inside the comfort of our warm houses, sometimes it’s difficult to cope up. Imagine the plight of the less privileged ones residing by the roadside! The youth volunteers of @art of living vadodara, @yesplusgang #Vadodara like every year, visited such people and gifted them with the warmth and love of blankets. Approx. 300 blankets were donated. Guru Purnima is a day for Gratitude, gratitude for all that is received. So as part of Guru Purnima celebrations, like every year, the Yes+ Gang carried out a tree plantation drive planting some 150 trees at an upcoming garden in #vadodara. Today, the Vadodara Municipal Corporation celebrated the top 10 finish in Swachhta Sarvekshan by breaking Guinness World Records with ‘Vadodara Clean Sweep’ – Highest number of people cleaning a single venue. 5058 people cleaned the Fun Street venue and this was witnessed by a whopping 50,000+ audience! Today volunteers of Yes+ Gang, the youth wing of Art of living Vadodara chapter carried out a cleanliness drive in and around the premises of Kamnath Mahadev. The volunteers, joined by deputy mayor Vadodara city Shri Yogeshbhai patel, carried out the task of cleaning temple premises including the steps leading to vishwamitri river. A tough task done swiftly with a smile and commitment on each of the faces.

p.s The temple located on the banks of river Vishwamitri Nr. Bal Bhavan, is one of the Nav-Naths (One of the 9 Shiv temples established by Maharaja Sayajirao III) and hence a place of archaeological and heritage importance. But most of this temples are in dilapidated state requiring urgent maintenance and revival.
Today on behalf of The Art of Living foundation, we donated books to help setup library in a rural school under the ‘Gift a Library’ project. Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar strongly believes in empowerment through education and this is only one of the 650+ projects that The Art of Living foundation runs. Good to know that I am part of such wonderful organization.

The Yes+ Gang #Vadodara celebrated the 68th Republic Day with spirit of patriotism and service. They visited a small dwelling to celebrate and spread the national spirit among the residents, particularly kids. With making the kids understand the importance and significance of our national flag and its tri-colors to singing the glory of our nation. “Vande mataram”, “Jhanda ucha rahe humara” to name a few, and of course our National anthem! With some teachers and students of a prominent school joining us too, this might be the 1st time for those kids to have had such a celebration of a national festival. Recently, Jitubhaiya was invited as a guest speaker for a social responsibility meet, SAMANVAYA organised by the Social work faculty of the Parul University. The meet, which included other eminent speakers and personalities from various other NGOs and corporate, focused on the topic of ‘Individual social responsibility.’
It was a great pleasure and honor for to attend the meet and throw some light on such an important topic. We congratulate the social work faculty, the professors & students for organizing it.
Where the world stood together and took a pledge to save a girlchild… Yes plus Gang volunteers gave a small contribution for a big leap ahead.
