We cannot keep calm when its our beloved Master’s birthday!

13th May like every year is a special day for us and we do grand celebrations as its the birthday of the Founder of The Art of Living Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. However, this year the celebrations took off on a different mode as the whole world fights back the deadly pandemic Covid19. This year we did Online celebration and people from different corners of the world joined us LIVE!

Morning celebrations began with Sadhna (daily practice of Yoga & Sudarshan Kriya gifted by Gurudev to the humanity), Guru Puja (a thanks giving ceremony to the tradition of the Masters) and cake cutting. Evening celebrations had some musical element in the form of Satsang which brought out the sheer joy & enthusiasm inside us. We all realised how badly we are missing our Monday Satsangs. A blissfull chanting of the Guru Puja and of course the cake cutting marked the end of this beautiful day.

We are ever grateful to Gurudev to have blessed us with his presence in our lives and on this planet.

Last Monday we had Maha Shivratri special satsang. Each one present was mesmerised by the beautiful shiva elements decor and soaked themselves in blissful shiva bhajans. Here are a few glimpse.

Yuvaan 3.0 Satsang

Yesterday we had a soulful YUVAAN 3.0 special satsang.

YUVAAN is a Happiness Program for Youths being organized by the art of living each year, where Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar interacts with the participants LIVE on the last day. The decoration of yesterday evening exhibited various benefits of the Program like enhancing creativity, elimination of stress, dynamism, boosting confidence, finding inner peace, improving memory and concentration, bringing clarity of mind, sorting out relationships, etc.

Vasantpanchami Speacial Satsang!

We had #VasantPanchmi special #satsang today. Vasant Panchami is the #festival dedicated to goddess #Saraswati who is the goddess of #knowledge, #language, #music and all #arts. To honour these qualities in one self, Jitu Bhaiya led everyone into a beautiful #meditation. And of course the #bhajans filled the atmosphere with positive vibes as always…

We had a blissful Samuhik Shravan Rudra Puja yesterday with close to 200 people soaking themselves in the ancient chants of Rudram. The Art of Living organises Rudra Puja every year during the auspicious month of shravan all over the world creating a peaceful, calm, healthy and happy evironment. The Rudra Puja, mentioned in our ancient vedic scriptures thousands of years ago, proves to create such energy and vibrations wherever it is being chanted. Words won’t be enough to describe the vibes and the serenity of the Puja. With few days still left for shravan month, do attend this ultimate blissful puja wherever you get a chance.

The Yes+ Gang was fortunate to have a blissful Shravan Rudra puja organised at Vadodara with the Swami Hardik Vaishnav ji along with veda boys of our Veda school from the Bangalore Ashram.

Plantation Drive – #GuruPurnima

 

As part of the Guru Purnima, The Art of Living organisation celebrates Environment Day. Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankarsays that, “Nature nourishes us and it is important that we take care of it. A healthy future for our coming generations depends on how we care for our environment in the present.”
So the Art of living Vadodara family conducted a plantation drive and planted 550+ trees across the city and pledge to take care of them.
I urge you all to take up the responsibilty of preserving and taking care of trees in and around your locality or wherever you can. In this way, a small effort by every individual will surely help in a big way to preserve and conserve our environment.

Ashram Course Feb 2016

Last weekend was fun yet relaxing. I concluded a weekend special HAPPINESS PROGRAM at the serene and magical The Art Of Living Ashram – Gujarat ( Ankalwadi-Vasad).
Also, we had a fun filled ASHRAM RETREAT trip organised on Sunday evening for the volunteers and participants of the previous courses from Baroda.

The two days were of total bliss, serenity, and fun!

Looking forward to have more such time at the Home away from Home!

It was a blissful evening at Vadodara with the ever graceful Namita Malik Kohli ji, mesmerizing the audience with some serene but rocking satsang songs in her super melodious and charming voice. The Sumeru Sandhya was part of pre-launching of upcoming The World Culture Festival to be held on 11-13th March 2016, New Delhi.

Youth Advance course with Atika Dhandhia

It was a blissful, serene and life transforming advance course with super charming senior international faculty Atika Dhandhia at the beautiful The Art Of Living Ashram – Gujarat ( Ankalwadi-Vasad) with the youths of Gujarat. First of its kind, a Gujarat special youth advance course marked 180+ youths from all over Gujarat.

We thank all the teachers who have been part of this wonderful silence program. With new life force and outlook, these youths are the new torch bearers of spreading love, joy and enthusiasm.

International Yoga Day!

Vadodara celebrated the 1st ever International Yoga Day in a grand way. The event that marked hundreds of people was organised by the Art of Living Vadodara volunteers on the premises of #Vadodara Central Bus Station, a unique of a kind of venue to spread yoga awareness in front of hundreds of commuters.
The event celebrated the spirit of yoga through people performing 108 suryanamaskar and blissful meditation followed by a serene satsang.

Words fall short to express the magnanimity and infinity of our beloved Guruji.
On the occasion of the 59th birthday celebration of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Art of Living Vadodara organised a huge satsang with shri Sachin limaye. Grace flowed in all directions with the venue over flooding with the people.

Satsang with Namita Malik

The Art of Living Foundation was invited to conduct a satsang at the “VADFEST-Vadodara International Art & Cultural Festival.” Namita Malik di took over the stage and drench people in soulful satsang songs. From the young to the young at heart, everyone danced and enjoyed on the tunes of rocking but serene satsang songs. An evening of unprecedented bliss.

Rock Satsang at the Indian Heritage – Fair Trade Haat, Vadodara

On 28th December, 2014 a soul stirring rock satsang with Prashant Joshi was organised at the Indian Heritage – Fair Trade Haat, New ST Depot, Vadodara. The visitors’ faces were filled with pleasant surprise watching youngsters of our Yesplus Gang dancing on the rocking Art of Living Bhajan tracks. Hence, they couldn’t resist and joined along! Each & every soul out there was soaked in the blissful joy and deepness of the bhajan tunes. A truely mesmerising sight!
